Brashear faced off against Knox County Friday night in the 1st round of baseball district play. The Tigers jumped on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the top of the 1st and held a 2-0 lead after one inning. Knox County came roaring back with 7 runs in the bottom of the 2nd to go up 7-2. Brashear rallied for 4 runs in the 5th to close the gap to 11-6, but Knox County went on to win by a score of 16-6. Garrett Housman and Lane Stutsman each had 2 hits with Brandon Jochimsen, Jace Snelling, Jack Reeves, Carson Erwin, and Austin Peterson also having hits. Brandon Jochimsen got the start with Carson Erwin and Garrett Housman pitching in relief.
